Megan Stephens
Megan Stephens is a PhD candidate in the School of English at the University of Sheffield. Her postgrad studies are funded by the AHRC through the White Rose Consortium. Her research focuses on cultural representations of death in contemporary genre film and television. She explores how different identities—heroes, villains, and those considered ‘unimportant’—are constructed and valued through their relationship to death.
